Whilst no specific qualifications are required to become a furniture assembler, there are several important attributes that are necessary. These include:

Personality: A bright, enthusiastic and confident personality is essential to establish a rapport with customers and set them at ease.

Ability: Good spatial awareness, manual dexterity, patience, attention to detail.

Standards: Going into someone's home requires respect and high standards of personal presentation including:

• Good personal hygiene, clean appearance and a tidy approach to the job
• Manners and consideration for others
• Honesty and integrity

Quality Control: DR FLAT PACK implements quality control processes to monitor all work. Assemblers must conform to these standards.

Assemblers will be required to have their own transport, mobile phone and tools.
